February 2026 Briefing: Laying the Foundation
February has been a month of structural growth at YAS Work. While there haven’t been major public launches, significant work has been happening behind the scenes to strengthen the foundation of our sex worker–led media platform.
We are restructuring YASPodcast.com to support long-term growth, including clearer episode packaging, improved navigation, and a more searchable blog structure. By transcribing episodes and writing detailed summaries, we are transforming conversations into an accessible, long-lasting archive of sex workers’ stories, political analysis, cultural insight, and resistance. This archival work ensures that our media is not just published — but preserved.
YAS Work is also formalizing its transition into a multi-show podcast network. Princess Marx is currently developing a show under the YAS Work umbrella, with additional artists in conversation. The first formal announcements for the network are anticipated in Spring 2026.
Alongside this expansion, we are strengthening the YAS Veterans consulting directory, refining brand cohesion across platforms, and building cleaner backend systems to support collaborators and future growth. A small working group now meets weekly to create media and art together, solidifying the collaborative infrastructure that has been forming organically over time.
This phase is focused on sustainability, stability, and intentional growth. YAS Work is evolving from a single podcast into a structured, durable network for sex worker–led media and advocacy.
To support this foundation, consider becoming a recurring donor, joining YAS Veterans, or sharing this briefing with others who believe in independent, sex worker–led infrastructure.
