March 2026 Briefing: Laying the Foundation
March has been a month of active building and deeper alignment at YAS Work. We’ve been putting significant energy into preparing for our upcoming stream event of For the Love of Strippers followed by a panel, set to release April 10. Alongside that, we’ve been investing in our network, coaching new talent and supporting them through the production process, continuing to expand what this platform can hold and who it can uplift.
On the content side, we’ve completed a major restructuring of the podcast site, converting pages into posts and making each host’s episodes easier to find and engage with. It’s a shift toward better accessibility and discoverability, and part of a larger effort to make our work more usable for our audience.
At the same time, we’ve been holding space for the realities of the moment. With the weight of constant difficult news, we’re moving intentionally, honoring our capacity, prioritizing mental health, and reminding ourselves that this work is a marathon, not a sprint. There’s a balance we’re learning to strike between urgency and sustainability.
We’ve also been in ongoing conversation about the role of AI in sex work, what it means for our future, our labor, and our creative autonomy. These are questions we’re continuing to explore internally and are interested in opening up more broadly, both within our community and as part of future programming. For the Love of Strippers Documentary Stream
Friday, April 10 at 3:00 pm EST
Join us for a special screening of For the Love of Strippers, followed by a live panel discussion, “Ethical Media, With or Without Us”, exploring what it truly means to represent sex workers ethically in film and media.
This conversation brings together sex workers, creatives, and industry voices to unpack how narratives about sex work are shaped—and too often distorted—by those outside the community. Together, we’ll examine the difference between storytelling that is collaborative and accountable versus storytelling that is extractive and harmful.
Finished Episode Organizing
We should have done it from the beginning, but whatever, it's done now. This month, we converted 157 pages into posts on the YASPodcast.com site. We did this so you users can find information on specific hosts with more ease. Now you can visit each hosts profile and see a full list of their episodes and guests. You no longer have to filter through every episode to find who you are looking for.
We've also made our search engine on our site more user friendly. The reasons: increase SEO, become less reliant on social media, provide easier to sort through resources for people who are learning and researching, maintain an organized archive of the history of our work.

Daisy Ducati interviewed Jupiter Jetson about the unionization efforts happening at Sheri's Ranch in Nevada. The new contract put out by the ranch is what sparked the workers to organize. It is packed full of ridiculous agreements, including allowing the workers to release their likeness for them to use with AI. This episode releases on April 15th on YASPodcast.com and everywhere else you listen to podcasts.

Reading the Room
This is collectively, a very difficult time. You don't need to read that here to know that. We are keenly aware of what is happening and are giving ourselves and others more grace than usual. Many of us are late or completely forgetting meetings all together. Saying this to say, if you find yourself also being/feeling a little off, be kind to you. We are all going through a lot, at varying degrees on any given day. Here in our space, we are forgiving and understanding. We hope you are experiencing the same in your circles.
Getting Closer to Network Status
This month, a new episode for a new show under the YAS Work umbrella has been recorded. We are officially in development stage phase 2, the creation of content. This is the second show in phase 2 currently. We can't wait to make our big announcement. Want to support the network? Let us know!

My partner asked me to write about what is it that I do or have done that makes me "feel the most free in life." I really had to stop and think about that, and I haven't really had a moment to sit in a quiet room and really think about that. But I plan to soon, and I invite you to do the same. Or do you have your answer already? I would love to know what it is that helps others "feel free"... I'd love to know the answer for myself as well. Stay tuned...
